Latest On Bronson Reed Returning To WWE
December 20, 2022Bronson Reed was a high-priority re-hire for Triple H.
Last night during Monday Night RAW we saw the return and main roster debut of Bronson Reed. He appeared during the ladder match with The Miz and Dexter Lumis assisting The Miz to victory. Reed’s return was not a big shock as over the last month or so his name had been rumored for a return, but now we have more on his actual return.
According to an update from Fightful, they do report that WWE’s interest in Reed was made aware back in August yet Reed continued to work for New Japan Pro Wrestling till October. New Japan reportedly wanted to retain him but as we saw last night his decision was to go back to WWE. It was also noted that Bronson Reed was considered a “high-priority” re-hire for Triple H when he gained power in WWE.
The report does go on to confirm that Reed has signed a new contract with the company and they did not telegraph this on internal run sheets within the company. They noted that even though he finished up with New Japan in October, he remained active on social media pitching matches for WrestleKingdom 17 to throw people off. Speaking of him working for New Japan, if that was something he would want to do, a deal would have to be made between New Japan and WWE to make it happen and as of right now that has not.
If we do hear anything else about Bronson Reed returning to WWE, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
