Kenny Omega Suffers Possible Injury At Revolution

After an instant classic one of AEW’s top stars may have been injured.

Last night was AEW Revolution and with the AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line, four men had one of the best tag team matches of the last 10 years if not longer. Unfortunately, it is being reported that Kenny Omega may have been injured in that tag match.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Sapp reports that word going around is that Omega may have suffered a broken hand during his title defense at Revolution.

Word going around backstage is that Kenny Omega’s hand was banged up after his instant classic tag team match at AEW AEW Revolution. Initially it was feared he could have suffered a broken hand, though we don’t know if that’s the case or the severity of the injury

As far as what spot in the match could have suffered the broken hand was not noted. If Omega did in fact suffered a broken hand that he may not be out of action too long. Typically if surgery is not needed a broken hand could heal in three weeks. If surgery is needed then he will end up having to wear a cast and depending on the severity of the break would determine how long he may need to be out of action.
