AEW offers Jeff Cobb a similar deal to Jericho and Moxley.

Over the last two weeks, we have seen Jeff Cobb on AEW Dynamite. Two weeks ago he appeared on the show and helped the Inner Circle beat down Jon Moxley. Then this week he took on and was defeated by Moxley.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Melter reports that AEW offered Cobb a contract that would still allow him to work for New Japan Pro Wrestling. The contract would be similar to Chris Jericho or Jon Moxley where he can work dates in Japan but none in the US. Plus they would have first rights on dates and could pull him from a date if they need him for a show.

Currently, Cobb is considered a free agent in pro wrestling and able to work with any company he wants. He is currently scheduled for multiple dates upcoming with Ring of Honor. As far as Cobb working anymore with AEW it is said he has agreed to work “a few dates” but the specific number was not revealed.
