Goldberg Provides Major Update On Length Of Current Contract

Goldberg’s contract may be up sooner than expected.

When it comes to Goldberg and his current deal with WWE, news and rumors were that he was signed through 2023 and only committed the two matches a year. Yet according to Bill Goldberg himself, his contract could actually be up way sooner than we all expected.

While in Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel last week Goldberg spoke with Ring Rules and was asked about his current contract and stated that he actually only has one more match on his current deal.

“I still feel as though I can wrestle, I still feel as though I can entertain. After this match I have one more match on my contract, and that’s it. We’ll see what happens, you never know.”

If Goldberg really only has one more match on his contract following last week’s match with Bobby Lashley, there is a change Goldberg could be done with WWE within the next few months. Goldberg has primarily worked only big events for WWE and the next two big events are Royal Rumble at the end of January and the rumored next Saudi Arabia show next February.
