Former World Champion Reportedly Backstage At Smackdown

A former world champion is once again backstage at Smackdown.

Tonight’s Friday Night Smackdown comes to us from Buffalo, New York and we do know a number of things for this show. It also looks like for the third week in a row a third former WWE and World Champion is backstage in Buffalo.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that Jeff Hardy is currently backstage at Smackdown. As stated this is the third week in a row Hardy has been backstage. Hardy himself revealed on WWE Backstage this past Tuesday night that he has been on the road with Smackdown the last few weeks and is just waiting for a creative way for them to have him return to television.

With Hardy being backstage, it is unclear if we could finally see him on TV tonight or if for the third week in a row Hardy will be there and not used.

Also announced for tonight’s show is Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman on A Moment of Bliss. Bayley and Sasha Banks will take on Naomi and Lacey Evans. Plus there will be a tag team gauntlet match.
