Nick Khan is making big moves backstage in WWE.

Last week we saw what many online are calling “trash bag gate” when Mickie James was sent her belongings from WWE in a trash bag. This leads to the firing of long-term WWE employee Mar Carano and because of that, some big moves are being made backstage in WWE.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that WWE President Nick Khan has been making some big corporate end changes backstage. Last week it was reported that John Cone had ben removed from talent relations and would only be a referee going forward. Now it looks like Cone has been added back to talent relations and in a higher role than before. Now Cone will be second in command working directly under John Laurinaitis.

Speaking of John Laurinaitis, he was recently moved to head of talent relations in 2021, and that left a spot open on the TV side where he was lead producer. Johnson reports that that role has now gone to former RAW, Smackdown, and NXT Tag Team Champion Jason Jordan. Jordan is now in charge of all producers at television. Jordan suffered a neck injury back in 2018 that sidelined him and he has been working as a producer backstage in WWE since.

Finally, speaking of getting promoted and moving up in WWE, Adam Pearce has as well. Johnson reports that Adam Pearce has moved up in the company over the last few weeks, but his new role is not yet known.
