EXCLUSIVE: NXT To Not Have “Anything Substantial” On Tonight’s Show

EXCLUSIVE: NXT To Not Have “Anything Substantial” On Tonight’s Show

November 4, 2020 0 By Tim Jarrell

Tonight’s NXT might be a paint by numbers show.

It is Wednesday and that means tonight is NXT on the USA Network. Going into the day only four matches have so far been announced. Last week with Halloween Havoc, NXT had a good night in the ratings. Yet tonight anything remotely close to last week’s number is not projected. With the race for the presidency not yet figured out, most in the country are and tonight will still be watching the news and Triple H knows that.

A source has told us here at PWUnlimited that Triple H has told the creative team within NXT to not plan for “anything substantial” to take place tonight. He has told them to push anything big to next week. The reason for this is the fear of real low ratings and people not watching and missing a possible big moment.

It is unclear if anything big was originally planned for tonight’s show but it was stated that they have known that tonight will be a hard night for ratings and viewership. With that, they are not going to not try and do anything to help a lost cause.

So far for tonight’s show, the following has been announced,

Tommaso Ciampa vs Velveteen Dream

Ember Moon vs Dakota Kai

Kushida vs Cameron Grimes

Shotzi Blackheart vs Toni Storm

if we do hear anything else regarding tonight’s NXT, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
