Details On When The Rock Is Willing To Wrestle Next

We may not see The Rock for a couple of years.

Maybe rumors were going around this year that The Rock could face Roman Reigns next year at WrestleMania 37 in Southern California. That was really just a rumor in itself and never anything that looked like the company was trying to tease or set up at the time. With WrestleMania most likely not taking place next year in California, it looks like that rumor has now all but died. Yet we may have some info on when The Rock could step back into the squared circle.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reports that sources close to the situation state that The Rock has talked about possibly having a match with Roman Reigns in 2022.

Again we don’t know if talks ever actually happened between Rock and WWE to possibly face Roman Reigns next year but now with WrestleMania in California possibly taking place in 2022 that could be where this all comes into place.

The Rock has commented on possibly having a match with Roman Reigns during a live Instagram Q&A stating that anything is possible and never say never. He also stated that he is very close with Roman, they are family and “we’ll see.”
