Details On Matt Cardona Working For AEW & How Long He Is Set For

Former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona, f.k.a. Zack Ryder, has not signed a contract AEW.

This past Wednesday night on AEW Dynamite Cardona made his AEW debut saving Coy from a Dark Order attack. Next week he will make his in-ring debut teaming with Cody to take on Alex Reynolds and Jon Silver of the Dark Order. Now we have some new info on him working for the company.

According to a report from WrestlingInc, they report that Cardona is only working on a five appearance deal with the company. Things can of course change based on his performances and responses to them but the report says he was only brought in on a short term deal.

When Cardona made his AEW debut two days ago it seemed like he got a good reaction on social media but with no real fans in attendance, it’s hard to say how big his debut really could have been.
