Chris Jericho Out Of Action For Four To Six Weeks

Could Chris Jericho miss Double Or Nothing?

Last week we saw the Blood & Guts match where Chris Jericho was thrown off the top of the cage. This week we saw Jericho on Dynamite with a big cast on his left arm. That cast was for a legit injury suffered in the fall off the cage.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reports that Jericho dislocated his elbow after falling off of the Blood & Guts cage. With that, Jericho is projected to be out of action for four to six weeks. That issue there has to do with Double or Nothing in three weeks. We know The Inner Circle will take on The Pinnacle in a Stadium Stampeded match and the good thing about that match is there is a good chance it is pre-taped. If the match is pre-taped then they can easily work around Jericho’s Injury. If it is or not though, they can write Jericho out of the match early so he does not have to do much or risk injuring the elbow any worse.

Regarding the fall, it was stated that this spot was something Jericho, MJF, and Tony Khan came up with two months ago. Jericho did get lucky with the fall even though he injured the elbow because it was said that he nearly missed hitting his head on one of the stage lights.

If we do hear anything further regarding Jericho’s elbow injury and how it could impact Double or Nothing, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
