Britt Baker Accused Of Being One Reason Cody Rhodes Left AEW

Could an issue with Britt and Brandi be a reason why Cody left?

Cody Rhodes was seen by many as the face of AEW despite never winning the World Title. He was there from day one and had an EVP rale backstage. Many talked highly for the most part of Cody backstage in AEW but despite all of that in 2022 he left AEW and went back to WWE. There has been much speculation as to reasons why he left and a new has emerged.

While speaking on the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Konnan brought up that there were issues with Britt Baker and Brandi Rhodes and Tony Khan chose Baker’s side in the matter. He noted that this was one reason Cody ended up leaving AEW.

“One of the reasons that Cody left amongst many was there was problems between Brandi and Britt….Tony always takes her side….you’ll find out one day.”

Now we do not know what the issues between the first two females in AEW were, but Tony picking Britt over Brandi falls in line with other rumors. Cody said he will never talk about the real reason why he left stating it was personal and there have long been rumors of a falling out between Cody and Tony.

Britt Baker has been in the news recently after being suspended for a backstage issue with AEW American Champion MJF.
