BREAKING NEWS: WWE Moves Universal Title Match from Smackdown To Hell In A CellJune 17, 2021
Hell In A Cell match taking place on Smackdown.
Last week Rey Mysterio challenged Roman Reigns to a match for the Universal Title inside Hell In A Cell. WWE announced that the match was official and would be taking place on Sunday, June 20. Yet now the match is no longer taking place on Sunday.
WWE announced Thursday evening that the Hell In A Cell match between Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio will now be taking place on Smackdown.

The storyline reason for this move is that Rey Mysterio can no longer wait till Sunday to have this match and wants it as soon as possible. Reigns responded with any day works for him and the match taking place on Friday or Sunday makes no difference to him.

Sunday. Friday. Any day.
Makes no difference to me.
It'll be my pleasure to disgrace what's left of your family name tomorrow night inside Hell in a Cell!
My Special Counsel @HeymanHustle will handle the paperwork.

With this match now taking place tomorrow night on Smackdown, this will be the biggest match we have seen on Smackdown in a very long time. It is also not known if this was always the plan for this match or if something happened behind the scenes to move the match up two days.
If we do hear anything else on this match taking place on Smackdown, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
