BREAKING NEWS: WWE Hall Of Famer Returning In The Royal Rumble

The Royal Rumble just got rated R.

Last year in the Royal Rumble we got the return of the decade when Edge came out after being medically disqualified from wrestling after WrestleMania 27. Edge signed a multi-year deal to wrestle for WWE only for it to be taken away about six months later. Edge was injured at Backlash and has been out ever since. Tonight we got some good news though.

At the top of the second hour of RAW, they randomly announced that Edge will be appearing on the show tonight to give an update on his injury. When Edge appeared, he was sitting in the corner of a WWE ring and talked about his neck injury 10 years ago and how he had to give up the World Title. He stated last year he came back with the goal of getting the title back and another injury stopped that. Edge would then go on to state that this year will not be the same as last year but he will be returning from injury this Sunday in the Royal Rumble Match.

Edge wrestled three matches last year before being injured and forced to sit out the second half of 2020. With Edge returning this Sunday in the Royal Rumble we just hope that 2021 is a better year for the Rated R Superstar.
