Another person within WWE has tested positive for COVID-19.

UPDATE 6/15 9:15pm PT
According to multiple sources, we have learned that Tuesday’s television tapings at the WWE Performance Center have been canceled and potentially pushed back to Wednesday if possible. Instead tomorrow WWE will be testing everyone who was at the tapings last week with the developmental talent who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Back in April, it was reported that an on-screen talent in WWE had tested positive for COVID-19 but that no one else in the company should be worried as they did not come into contact with anyone else while being contagious. Now it looks like someone else who has been attending the tv tapings has tested positive.

First reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet, they do report that a WWE developmental talent who was being used as a member of the crowd has tested positive. Everyone who was at the tapings on the same day as this person will now be tested for the virus.

WWE’s Associate Medical Director, Dr. Jeffery Dugas, released the following statement on the matter,

“A developmental talent, who was last on site at WWE’s training facility on Tuesday, June 9, has tested positive for COVID-19. Since that time, no other individuals that attended the facility have reported symptoms. However, out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the health and safety of the company’s performers and staff, all talent, production crew and employees on site at the training and production facilities will be tested for COVID-19 immediately. Following the test results, WWE plans to proceed with its normal television production schedule.”

WWE did not name who it was who actually tested positive with their privacy in mind.
