BREAKING NEWS: New Jack Passes Away At The Age Of 58

Former ECW wrestler New Jack passed away Friday.

In a report from Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Johnson broke the tragic news that former ECW wrestler Jerome “New Jack” Young has passed away. He stated that New Jack suffered a heart attack in North Carolina where he lives earlier this afternoon. This news was actually passed along to Johnson by New Jack’s wife.

New Jack had been out of the eye of pro wrestling and its fans for some time now before his name was back in the conversation last year when he was featured on Dark Side Of The Ring. New Jack was considered one of the most controversial wrestlers of all time, yet not many if any could say he was not entertaining in and out of the ring.

New Jack began wrestling back in 1992 and wrestled for a number of promotions like USWA, Smokey Mountain Wrestling, and ECW where he is most known.

At this time is its unknown what led to this heart attack and if he had had any other health issues as of late. We here at PWUnlimited want to send out condolences to New Jack’s family and friends during this difficult time.
