When it comes to pro wrestling one of the most popular wrestlers right now is former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley. Moxley is known for his don’t give a crap badass attitude and it is that that the fans have gravitated to. Yet it looks as if Moxley is stepping away for a little while as he gets some help for issues he is having with alcohol.
AEW President Tony Khan revealed on Tuesday night that Jon Moxley has entered into an inpatient alcohol treatment program. With that, he will be taking time away from wrestling as he gets help.

I’m proud to call Jon a friend, and like many of you, I’m also a fan of Mox and look forward to a time in the future when he is eventually ready to return to the ring. Until then, thank you for supporting Jon and respecting his privacy at this time.

Moxley was set to face Orange Cassidy in the semi-finals of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament. Many expected him to win and then move on to the finals to face Bryan Danielson. Now it is not known how long Moxley will be out of the ring as he works through his treatment.
We here Pro Wrestling Unlimited want to wish Jon Moxley the best on his road to recovery. It is hard to know when you have an issue & even harder to ask for help. It’s great that he has done both. If we hear anything on Moxley going forward, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
