Big Match Set For Next Week’s NXT
January 14, 2021Two men will go to blows next week.
Last week at NXT New Year’s Evil we were supposed to see Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher inside of the NXT Fight Pit. They stated that Thatcher had suffered a minor injury and he was not cleared to compete. Yet he is cleared now.
Last night on NXT it was announced that next week we will be getting the Fight Pit match between Ciampa and Thatcher. On this week’s show, they had Wade Barrett conduct a face-to-face between these two hyping up the match next week.

Also announced for next week’s show will be a first-round match in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic where the team of Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory takes on Kushida and Leon Ruff. Also in the tournament, we will see Lucha House Party take on Imperium. The Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will kick off with Kacey Catanzaro and Kayden Carter against Mercedes Martinez & Toni Storm.
