Another Big Match Planned For SummerSlam

For the first time every, SummerSlam this year will come to us on a Saturday. SummerSlam is set to take place on Saturday, August 21st from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. One big match that has been rumored to main event the show is Roman Reigns versus John Cena, and now WWE is working to put together another big match on the Smackdown side of things.
According to WrestleVotes on Twitter, WrestleVotes states that WWE is looking to put together Seth Rollins versus Edge for SummerSlam in August. If you remember back in 2014 Seth Rollins and Edge had an altercation. We all knew about edge’s neck issues and Rollins threatened to Curb Stomp Edge on the Money In The Bank briefcase to make sure he never comes back. Of course Seth didn’t do the move but that could be something they play off of in the build to this match.
Along w/ Roman Reigns vs John Cena for SummerSlam, WWE is planning on stacking the SmackDown side with another major matchup. Source says idea as of now is for a Seth Rollins vs Edge first time ever match.

It has been said multiple times that WWE’s goal with SummerSlam this year is to actually make it a show that is bigger and WrestleMania. Also, it has been reported that WWE is looking to hold the show no longer than three hours in length.
