January 6, 2021Join Tim as he talks about everything that went down tonight at AEW New Year’s Smash & NXT New Year’s Evil.
AEW New Year’s Smash was highlighted by the main event where Kenny Omega defended the AEW Wodl Title against Rey Fenix. Omega would then try to attack Fenix after the match and Jon Moxley would come out to make the save. Then Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows came out to aid Omega before The Young Bucks would also come out before all five put up the Too Sweet sign.
NXT New Year’s Evil was highlighted by a number of good matches from Damiam Priest taking on Karrion Kross. Rhea Ripley and Raquel Gonzalez battles in a Last Women Standing match. Plus, Finn Balor defended the NXT Championship against Kyle O’Reilly.
