AEW Announces Blood & Guts, WarGames Style Match On The Show
February 29, 2020Dynamite In New Jersey will be a special show.
During Saturday night’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view All Elite Wrestling a major announcement was made. A video played announcing that the March 25th edition of Dynamite will be branded ‘Blood & Guts’. It was also announced that there will be two rings surrounded by a single cage. We know Cody has wanted to do a WarGames style match since AEW started.

The March 25th show will come to us from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The name “Blood & Guts” is a knock on Vince McMahon as last year during a earnings call he stated, “We’re not gonna do blood and guts, such as being done on perhaps a new potential competitor,” referencing to AEW.
We knew this name was going to be used eventually as back in November AEW filed a trademark for the name itself. As far as the name “WarGames,” WWE owns the trademark on that and when Cody so they would have to call it something else.
