WWE’s Reported Plan For NXT Title Matches At WrestleMania 37

Could we see NXT Title matches at WrestleMania?

This year, just like last, WWE will be running a two-night WrestleMania event. Last year we saw all three brands represented at WrestleMania including the NXT brand when Charlotte Flair challenged Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship after winning the Royal Rumble. The big question is if NXT will be represented this year at WrestleMania inside Raymond James Stadium.

According to Louis Dangoor of WrestleTalk, Dangoor reports that WWE currently does not have any plans to have an NXT Championship or NXT Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania this year. This is a topic that came up last month when WrestleVotes tweeted out that an NXT Championship match at WrestleMania had been discussed. It looks like those talks did not really go anywhere and it will not be happening.

As of right now, NXT does not have a WrestleMania weekend event scheduled nor at this time do they even have another NXT TakeOver announced before WrestleMania in mid-April.
