WWE Working On A Physical Hall Of Fame, COVID Delayed It

It looks like a physical WWE Hall Of Fame is coming.

For years fans have clamored at the idea of WWE having a physical Hall Of Fame where you can go and see exhibits dedicated to your favorite wrestlers and more. The closest thing to this is when WWE has their WWE AXXESS events over WrestleMania weekend and creates a mini physically hall of fame in the venue. Yet now it looks like a real one is possibly coming to Orlando.

This morning two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair appeared on ESPN’s The Jump and stated how WWE has asked to place some of his robes into a physical hall of fame they are building in Orlando.

“I’ve had like 36 or 38 (robes) and [the gold one] was one of my favorite robes. WWE is actually in the process of building a Hall of Fame, a physical structure Hall of Fame, in Orlando. It’s been delayed too because of COVID. They wanted to put [the robe] in there as something I wore. They’ve been tremendous to me on so many different levels. Now I need something in the entertainment wing.”

The last time we heard of WWE possibly creating a physical Hall Of Fame was back in 2016. Universal Studios in Orlando was looking to change up their NBA City attraction on City Walk with a WWE themed restaurant and physical hall of fame replacing it was rumored. As we know now that never actually came to be.

WWE themselves have yet to comment or announce any plans to build a physical hall of fame structure in Orlando but that could make sense for a number of reasons. WWE has worked closely with Universal for decades and the possibility of this going up in Universal Studios is still there. WWE doing it on their own in Orlando is also a nice idea since it is a major tourist town and they already have the WWE Performance Center located there.

If we hear anything else on a physical Hall Of Fame being built in Orlando, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
