WWE To Reportedly Hold Another Draft Later This Fall
August 1, 2020It looks like another WWE draft is coming in October.
Last year when WWE moved Smackdown off of the USA Network and on to FOX they held a draft to make sure the two shows really had separate brands. Not much changed in the way of who was on which show, but it looks like the draft could be an annual thing like it used to be in the past.
First reported by Fightful, they stated that plans for the draft have changed multiple times this year. Originally the plan was to hold the draft at the end of August. Then plans changed and it was pushed back to September. Once that was set it was pushed back again to October. The placement of the event in October is still now 100% set in stone but seems very likely.
John Polock of Post Wrestling also reported on this stating that they have been told that the draft is set to take place of two nights in October, yet things can always change.
Just like last year, the draft will take place on two nights with some picks being made during RAW and some picks being made during Smackdown.
If we do hear anything else regarding a possible WWE draft in October, we will have it here or on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
