WWE To Have Drastically Less Fans Than Expected At WrestleMania
March 17, 2021WWE will not be breaking the record for most fans at an event since the pandemic started.
This week there have issues regarding the ticket sales for WrestleMania 37. Tickets were supposed to go on sale Tuesday and that got pushed back. WWE then announced today tickets will go on sale this Friday. It looks like the ticket sale on-sale date was changed due to WWE not being able to have as many fans they once thought they would have able to have in attendance.
The original news was that WWE wanted to have 45,000 fans in the stands for each night of the two-night WrestleMania, yet that is not the plan anymore. First reported by Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times, they report that WWE will only have 25,000 fans in attendance for each night of WrestleMania.
BREAKING: Capacity for next month's #Wrestlemania at Raymond James will be approximately 25,000 fans for each of two nights of the event. That's 36 percent of full capacity for what the event would hold at Raymond James in a normal year. #TampaBay #WWE #ProWrestling

Jon Alba of Spectrum Sports also confirmed this with a little more information as well. Alba stated that WWE will require everyone in the crowd to have a mask on at all times. Upon entry, WWE will be providing free masks, temperature checks, and health screening as well.
I can confirm #WrestleMania will be limited capacity with approximately 25,000 people each night. Seating pods with social distancing. Masks required at all times, and there will be free masks upon entry with temperature checks and health screenings. #WWE
