WWE Superstars Reportedly Met With Vince McMahon Stop Twitch Bans

Superstars went straight to the top regarding their Twitch channels.

Yesterday we saw the first wave of WWE Superstars having to suspend any activity on their Twitch channels. We saw statements from AJ Styles, Mia Yim, Cesaro, Zelina Vega and Aleister Black, and a few others saying after this week they do not know the next time they will be able to stream again on Twitch. Even Paige went on an emotional rollercoaster ride about what may happen to her channel and how it was not fair. For all we know, no WWE Superstar with a YouTube channel has made any statements regarding having to suspend those as a number of Superstars are also on YouTube and post regularly.

In a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that several WWE talent me with Vince McMahon and argued against the Twitch ban. This seemingly got nowhere as we stated a number of superstars put out their statements of not knowing the next time they can stream on Thursday.

The report goes on to state that WWE is planning on making a big push for their own Twitch channel in the coming weeks. WWE already has a channel on Twitch that they air The Bump and pre-shows on. Yet if they are looking to ramp up their own channel by having talent only able to stream on the official WWE channel there can be an issue there. What if multiple people want to stream at the same time? What if they want to stream together but not all on the same feed? What if they don’t want to stream the same stuff at all? Or what if they want to stream something and WWE does not approve of that? Is this gonna by like is school when you have to sign up for a time to use the computer lab or something?

If we do hear anything further on WWE now actually enforcing Twitch bans, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited Channel.
