WWE Superstar Quietly Moves Brands
July 19, 2021One RAW Superstar is now on Smackdown.
Most of the time the only time WWE moves wrestlers between RAW and Smackdown is with the draft in the fall. Sometimes we see wrestlers get moved brands quietly but it is rare. Yet it looks like today one wrestler on the WWE main roster was moved.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that Naomi has been moved from the RAW brand over to Smackdown on Fridays. This does make sense with Naomi’s husband Jimmy Uso being on Smackdown. Typically WWE likes to keep married couples together, but it was said that was not a big deal during the pandemic when there was less travel. It seems like the move was done now as WWE returns to the road and is not just running from the Thunderdome in one singular location.
Naomi return back in October and was placed on the RAW brand then after spending a lot of time on the Smackdown brand prior. Naomi herself is a former Smackdown Women’s Champion and did compete last night in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
