WWE Superstar No Longer With The Company

January 18, 2020 1 By Tim Jarrell

Since the initial Mae Young Classic, many fans have wanted to see WWE sign “Alpha Female” Jazzy Gabert. It was said that after the tournament WWE was very interested in her and offered her a deal. Before all was done though and while Gabert was going through the medical process of signing with the company it was discovered that she had three herniated discs in her neck and in December of 2017 WWE pulled the offer.

In March of 2018, Gabert had successful neck surgery and stated to the Afterbuzz Women’s Pro Wrestling Weekly show that she was going to send the post-surgery MRI to WWE in the hope to try and get signed by the company.

It was then revealed in January of 2019 the Gabert had actually been signed by the WWE and was being placed on the NXT UK brand. She would eventually debut for the brand on the May 15 edition of NXT UK. Since debuting she has aligned herself with Jinny in an enforcer type of role.

Her last match with the WWE actually came back in October of 2019. Her last match at all was back on December 7 for WrestlingKULT.

This weekend the NXT UK brand is filming television coming off of last weekend’s NXT UK Takeover Blackpool II event. On Saturday, after the tapings seemed to have concluded, Gabert sent out a tweet that just said “Free Agent”.

It was directly told to us, from someone with knowledge of the situation, that this tweet does in fact mean that Gabert is no longer with the WWE. The word going around right now is that she is actually thinking of retiring from in-ring competition. If we do have any more details on Jazzy Gabert’s departure from WWE and what her plans are going forward we will keep you updated.
