A new generation is gonna get their wig split.

For decades now we a seen second and third-generation WWE Superstars. Wrestlers with a lineage of wrestlers in their family like Randy Orton, Charlotte Flair, Nattie Neidhart, Bron Breakker, and others. Now it looks like we can be getting a new second-generation WWE Superstar.

On Thursday night, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry appeared at a show in Cleveland at Remix Rumble and his son Jacob actually appeared on stage with him. This is when Jacob informed the crowd that he had actually signed with WWE. He stated this is news that “is going to come out in the next couple of days.” As that crowd started chanting for NXT.

Right now Jacob Henry is on the wrestling team at the University of Oklahoma and it is not known when he will start with WWE. his father Mark Henry actually stated in a recent interview with TMZ that along with wrestling Jacob was interested in trying out for the school’s football team as well. So we do not know if Jacob could be starting with WWE sometime soon or if he is looking to finish college beforehand. Yet, in the TMZ interview, Mark stated Jacob wants to be a pro wrestler but he needs to get his degree first.

“They wanted him to come out for spring football, so you might get to see him out there on that field too as a two-sport athlete.

His true passion is pro wrestling. He’s not trying to be the Olympic champion. He said, ‘Dad, I’m not trying to go to the Pro Bowl or win the Super Bowl.’ He said, ‘I want to main event WrestleMania. I wanna go to Japan and be champion.’”

He’s gotta hand me that degree first. Him and my daughter both. I was like, ‘Y’all hand me the degree, I will give you the keys to your inheritance and you can go do whatever you want to do.’”

If we do hear anything further on Jacob Henry, the son of Mark Henry signing with WWE, we will keep you updated.
