WWE Reveals Name & Logo For February 14th TakeOver
February 3, 2021NXT will get vengeance on Valentine’s Day.
A few weeks back it was announced that the next NXT TakeOver event will take place on Dunay, February 14th. When this announcement was made no details on the name or theme were announced. Many fans felt it was a no brainer for WWE to bring back the ‘St. Valentine’s Day Massacre” name for the show. That’s not what they are doing.
Today WWE has announced that the February 14th Takeover will be known as “NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day. The name is kinda odd to call a show on Valentine’s Day, Vengeance Day.
Love is in the air — and vengeance isn't far behind…#NXTTakeOver: Vengeance Day is set for Sunday, Feb. 14 at 7 E/4 P on @WWENetwork! https://t.co/ATKFXByRbn

The Vengeance name was used by WWE from 2001 to 2006 and then again in 2011. The first Vengenace event in 2001 was where Chris Jericho defeated The Rock and Steve Austin in the same night to become the first WWF Undisputed Champion.
So far only one match has been announced for the show. We know that Io Shirai will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against both Toni Storm and Mercedes Martinez.
