One highly sought after free agent has signed with WWE.

This year we saw WWE release over two dozen wrestlers in a cost-cutting measure. We then learned a few weeks back that they had officially signed new talent, most former EVOLVE talent. Now it looks like WWE has signed another independent wrestler that multiple companies were after.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reports that Ben Carter has signed with WWE. Carter has appeared on multiple wrestling show this year with many interested in signing him. Carter wrestled Scorpio Sky on the AEW Late Night Dynamite where the match was received highly by many. He also wrestled Chris Sabin on IMPACT Xplosion. Many feel that one thing that got him to sign with WWE over others was the fact that he was trained at Seth Rollins’ Black and Brave Wrestling Academy.

This is not the first time we have gotten word that Carter had signed with WWE. Miro recently spoke about AEW losing Ben Carter to the dark side.
