WWE Reportedly Plans To Start Traveling After ThunderDome Contract Is Over, WWE Allowing Talent Time Off
September 25, 2020WWE may be going back on the road in the next month or so.
Since SummerSlam weekend WWE has been running inside what they call the ThunderDome inside the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. They have a residency with the Amway Center that allows them to run in the building until at least October 31st. When they get closer to that day they can either let the deal expire or both sides can agree to extend it if they do choose so.
Recently it was reported by WrestleVotes on Twitter that WWE was possibly looking at running outdoor venues after the ThunderDome residence expires at the end of October. They wanted somewhere in a southern state with good weather to run both Raw and Smackdown. It is said that WWE already has a team scouting locations.
Over the past week or so, WWE assembled a small team to figure out if running TV from outdoors venues would be fesisble once the ThunderDome contract expires. Idea is both SD & RAW would be in same location each week. Southern states with good weather is the preference. All TBD.

Now in a new report from Gary Cassidy or Inside The Ropes, Cassidy reports that talent in WWE has been told that there are tentative plans to start traveling again once they are done inside the Amway Center. It was also stated that talent should not plan any immediate travel on their own accord. Also, if any talent in the company wants some time off, they must request it at least three weeks in advance. No firm plans have been set by the company after far as where they will run past October 31st.
