WWE Reportedly Has Another “Steve Austin” Level Surprise For WrestleMania

WWE may have multiple big surprises.

We have heard over the last few days that WWE has all but confirmed that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin will have a match this year at WrestleMania. The proposed match would see Austin face Kevin Owens as the company has already started planting the seeds of this. Now it looks like Austin may not be the only big surprise for WrestleMania.

According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Observer Radio, Meltzer stated that WWE is actually planning another “Steve Austin level surprise” for WrestleMania 38 this year. Who this could be though was said to be not known at this time. Meltzer did state that it does not like to be either Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson or John Cena as they both have projects upcoming around Mania time. Meltzer would also state that Cena would not be considered an “Austin” level surprise especially since he was just around last summer.

Now the one thing to note here is that Meltzer did not state if this surprise is for a match or not. There is a possibility that this person will not be working a match but just appearing on the show. One thing to look at is that yes The Rock could have a project that would keep him from doing an actual match, but that is not to say that he can’t fly in the day of to just appear on the show. The Rock did tease possibly coming back to WWE soon this week on Twitter.

One person on Twitter mentioned how Rock did not pause at the Super Bowl when he said “The millions and millions” and Rock responded to that tweet. Rock stated that maybe that was a little easter egg and on purpose cause, the millions with a pause is coming soon.

If we do hear anything else regarding this possible second “Austin level surprise” for WrestleMania could be, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
