WWE Reportedly Filming Tributes To Brodie Lee This Week & More
December 30, 2020WWE could be working on a big project in memory of Brodie Lee.
This past Monday, Monday Night Raw was the first wrestling show since the passing of Jon Huber, a.k.a Brodie Lee, a.k.a. Luke Harper, and WWE was criticized for doing no more than airing a graphic at the start of the show. We saw many on the show pay tribute to Brodie in a number of different ways. Then Tuesday it was reported that before RAW, WWE filmed many different tributes to the late former Intercontinental Champion.
Now it is being reported by PWInsider that WWE planned to film more tributes today before NXT as well as on Friday before Smackdown.
It was also reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful both WWE and AEW have both gotten access to photos and footage from Brodie’s career before he was in WWE.
WWE and AEW have both acquired some photos and materials featuring Jon Huber/Brodie Lee and his early career. Very excited to see how they honor him.

This goes along with what we were told yesterday that WWE was possibly working on a more long-form tribute to Brodie Lee but what that would be is not known. WWE could create a short video to air on television and post on social media, or they could actually be working on a WWE Network documentary. We were also told that WWE did not want to post any tribute videos before they were able to let everyone from all three rosters say what they wanted to say on camera. With WWE only seeing the Monday Night RAW roster before Monday night that was not possible.
If we hear anything further on what WWE could be Working on to pay tribute to Jon Huber, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
This is one of the best explanations I’ve come across. Thanks!
