WWE Provides Injury Update On Humberto Carrillo

Update On Humberto Carrillo following RAW.

This past Monday on Raw Humberto was part of a big gauntlet match to crown a new number one contender to Rey Mysterio and the United States Championship. Carrillo was going into the final match with Andrade when Andrade took actions into his own hands. Before the match started the two fought at ringside. Andrade got the better of the exchange before pulling up the protective mats at ringside. Andrade would then give Carrillo a Hammerlock DDT on the exposed concrete floor. This lead to Humberto Carrillo having to be stretchered out of the building. WWE has released an update on Carrillo’s status.

Following the brutal attack from Andrade on Raw, Humberto Carrillo was treated at a local medical facility, allowed to fly home and will have a follow up evaluation Thursday morning, WWE.com has learned.

As we learned from this past Monday where they filmed next week’s RAW in advance, Carrillo does not appear on next week’s show. We will see if he appears on the December 30 show when RAW returns live to the USA Network.
