WWE Moving Production Out Of Full Sail University
October 1, 2020Starting this weekend NXT is moving out of Full Sail.
When WWE moved all main roster production into the WWE Performance Center back in March, NXT remained at Full Sail University. Then when WWE moved production from the Performance Center to the ThunderDome over SummerSlam weekend, WWE still kept NXT in Full Sail. Then this week Triple H stated that TakeOver “will have a unique look and feel, something totally different that hasn’t been done, so far.” He also stated that he hoped it would be “game-changing” and we now know that means moving out of Full Sail.
According to John Pollock of POST Wrestling, Pollock reports that WWE will be moving NXT production out of Full Sail University and to the WWE Performance Center for the foreseeable future. The report also states that 205 Live will be moving to the Performance Center as well. This change goes into effect this Sunday with NXT TakeOver 31. No reason was given for the change.
Word has been that since moving to the Amway Center, WWE had transitioned the Performance Center but to its training facility state. Now it seems they will have to transition the PC back into a production studio format.
If we do hear anything further on this move for NXT and 205 Live, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
