WWE Looking To Bring Back Another Released Star

Another former champion could be coming back to WWE.

Over the last few years WWE released just shy of 100 different wrestlers from the roster. Last weekend at SummerSlam we saw Dakota Kai get brought back to the company and that led to speculation about more released wrestlers being brought back as well. Today we got word of a former NXT Champion who could be considered to returning to the company.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Sapp reports that WWE has discussed possibly bringing Killer Kross back to the company. The report notes how several within the industry outright expect Kross to return to WWE. Once sourced indicated that they believed this was already part of the company’s plans. Yet that for sure has not been confirmed.

Kross is a former two-time NXT Champion and was brought to the main roster without a clear plan in place last year. Later in the year, he was eventually released by the company.

As far as his wife Scarlett Bordeaux returning as well, there has been no word if she would return with him as well. One would assume she would as she was a very big part of the act in NXT, but there could be things she is doing now that could keep her from returning with her husband.
