WWE Keeping Quiet On AJ Styles Injury

WWE Keeping Quiet On AJ Styles Injury

What is going on with AJ Styles?

AJ Styles has not been seen since the October 4th Smackdown when he was in a match with Carmelo Hayes and suffered an injury in the match. At the time it was not known if it was a real injury or a storyline. We eventually did learn it was real and Styles also clarified what the injury is.

Styles noted on social media that what he suffered was a Lisfranc injury and said it felt like when he took his boot off he was going to see a bone sticking out of his foot. That was not the case but it is still a serious injury. When it comes to this injury most have to spend 6-8 weeks with little to no weight on the foot and having it in a boot or cast.  They can even then start physical therapy if treatment of the injury is non-surgical. If surgery is needed that would need multiple months in the boot or cast before an extensive amount of physical therapy will be needed. When it comes to Styles we do not know which route he is taking.

The interesting this is how most are staying quiet on the injury and WrestleVotes talked about this on the latest WrestleVotes Radio.

“When he got hurt on that Friday night, I heard immediately, ‘Okay, it’s legit. He’s hurt.’ I haven’t heard a word about AJ Styles since. It’s very strange, to be honest, not a word. So whatever it is, they’re keeping it quiet all the way around.”

If we do hear anything further on AJ Styles’ injury and recovery, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
