WWE Issues A Statement Regarding Matt Riddle Sexual Assault Allegations
June 19, 2020Early Friday morning allegations came out accusing Matt Riddle of sexual assault.
Today WWN Live wrestler Candy Cartwright accused Riddle of sexual assault and forcing her to have sex with her during a car ride incident back in May of 2018. Cartwright stated that Riddle told her to have sex with him while others in the van were asleep and when she refused he took in upon himself to grab her by the throat and state that he could make her do it.

WWE has released a statement on the situation to Adam Silverstein of CBS Sports,
“We take any allegation of this nature very seriously and are looking into the matter.”
This is the same statement that WWE released on the allegations towards Jordan Devlin. As of right now, WWE has removed Matt Riddle from the preview for tonight’s Friday Night Smackdown.
