WWE Grants The Revival Their Immediate Release From The Company
April 10, 2020Dash and Wilder are no longer saying yeah in WWE.
The saga of Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder no longer wanting to be part of WWE has finally come to an end. The two this morning have been officially released from the company.
Friday morning WWE send out word that they and The Revival have agreed on an ‘immediate release” from the company. The Revival has been trying to get out of the company forever a year now with no success. WWE tried multiple times to get the former tag team champions to sign new contracts also with no success.
BREAKING: Effective today, Friday, April 10, 2020, WWE and The Revival have agreed on their immediate release from WWE. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors. https://t.co/PjAOuiHoxs

Now when you hear the word “released” and not that their contracts have expired the first question you ask if there is a no-compete clause attached to this release. According to Ryan Satin of ProWrestling Sheet, there is not.
FYI – Iโve confirmed with sources that The Revival do not have a no compete clause and are free to work wherever now, hence the โimmediate releaseโ wording from WWE.

Most feel like the most logical move for these two is to sign withAll Elite Wrestling and that are able to do so as of today. If they do sign with the company we could see them as early as next week on the show. We know that AEW has filmed all of their shows for the next multiple weeks if not months, but they could always film vignettes with the two to tease their impending debut.
If we do hear anything else on the release of The Revival from WWE and what is next for the duo we will keep you updated.
