WWE Crown Jewel Not Taking Place In Saudi Arabia, New Location Announced

May 1, 2025 Off By Tim Jarrell

WWE is moving Crown Jewel out of Saudi.

World Wrestling Entertainment has run the Crown Jewel event from Saudi Arabia since 2018. The only year it did not take place since then is 2020, due to the worldwide lockdown because of COVID-19. Now, for the first time, Crown Jewel is taking place in a different country.

WWE has announced that this year the WWE Crown Jewel event will be taking place on October 11th in Perth, Australia. This will be part of the WWE Perth takeover with Smackdown taking place the night before and Monday Night RAW two nights later. All three events will emanate from the RAC Arena.

We knew that WWE would only be running in Saudi Arabia once this year, over the summer, as many thought that would be the Crown Jewel event. Yet with WWE moving Crown Jewel to Perth, it is now interesting to see if the Saudi show will be King & Queen of the Ring or not. The other interesting thing is if they still have the World Champions face off for the Crown Jewel Championships since the show is not taking place in Saudi Arabia.

If we do hear anything else on WWE moving Crown Jewel to Australia, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
