WWE looking to bring as many people as possible to SummerSlam.

The next major WWE pay-per-view is SummerSlam and it has been announced that the planned date for the event is August 22nd. There have been a few different locations rumored from Phoenix, to Texas, to MSG, and more. Now one major city and its largest venue is now in the mix.

According to Jon Alba on the Living the Gimmick Podcast, Alba reported that WWE is considering running SummerSlam in Las Vegas. The biggest part of this story though is that WWE may want to run it in Allegiant Stadium where the Las Vegas Raiders play.

If WWE was to run Allegiant Stadium, that is a stadium where with a full capacity can fit upwards of 72,000 people inside. It was announced back in April that starting June 1st, all venues in Las Vegas are allowed to open up 100% capacity of their venues with a mask mandate still in place.

As stated, WWE has a number of different locations and venues in consideration but if WWE is looking to get as many people to SummerSlam as possible Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas could be their best move come August.
