Update: On Wednesday’s NXT TakeOver 31 media call Triple H confirmed the ACL injury again and also stated that Nox has already undergone surgery to repair the injury.

Original Story: Tegan Nox has once again suffered a knee injury.

Last week on NXT before the women’s battle royal we saw Candice LaRae take out Tegan Nox. We had then heard that she was taken out of the match due to another possible knee injury. Not much more was said about this over the last week, but WWE as commented and confirmed this injury.

Today WWE confirmed that Tegan Nox has suffered a torn ACL. They are playing this up in storyline that Candice LaRae caused the injury in her pre-match attack. We do not actually know exactly when or how she suffered said torn ACL. Nox has actually not competed since the August 14th edition of Smackdown when she was in the triple brand battle royal for a shot at the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

This is not the first time that Tegan Nox has suffered a torn ACL as she suffered on before the first Mae Young Classic back in 2017 and then another one year later in the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament.
