WWE Confirms Date For 2021 SummerSlam, Details On Location

WWE confirms big change for SummerSlam.

Yesterday it was reported that SummerSlam this year will run on a Saturday night. The reported date is August 21st and WWE has confirmed that date themselves.

WWE has revealed that SummerSlam this year will take place on Saturday, August 21st, 2021. WWE revealed all remaining dates for their 25-date tour and SummerSlam was listed without a venue. WWE did state that the venue for SummerSlam will be revealed on the 2021 Belmont Stakes’ pre-show that airs on NBC on June 5th.

Right now the top leading venue for SummerSlam is Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Yet some reports state that is not 100% yes and WWE is still looking at other venues as well. According to the Sports Business Journal and confirmed by WWE, six NFL stadiums are still in consideration to host SummerSlam.
