WWE Announces Three New Female Signees
January 20, 2021Three female wrestlers have signed with WWE.
Two weeks ago WWE announced that they would be holding the first-ever Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in 2021. Last week they announced the first four teams and that the tournament would start this week on NXT. This morning on The Bump they announced the brackets for the eight-team tournament and with that three new signees were announced as well.
In announcing new teams for the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic WWE also announced the signing of Lacey Ryan, Priscilla Kelly, and Elayna Black. All three women were actually given new names in NXT. Ryan will now be known as Zoey Stark. Kelly will now be known as Gigi Dolin, and Black will be known as Cora Jade. Gigi Dolin and Cora Jade will be teaming together in the tournament and Zoey Stark will team with Marina Shafir.

As far as the three women now signed to WWE, Priscilla Kelly is the most known of the three working many of the top independent promotions in the US. She also competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic Tournament. Wrestle for AEW on the Jericho Cruise last year and in 2020 she even challenged the former champion Thunder Rosa for the NWA Women’s World Championship.
Lacey Ryan has worked for IMPACT Wrestling as recently as last year. She also has worked for UWN Primetime, Mission Pro, Shimmer, FSW, and other promotions as well.
Elayna Black is most known for her time with Game Changer Wrestling. Also in 2020, she worked for AEW working on AEW Dark.
