WWE Announces The Releases Of Several Top Superstars

Overnight rumors were going around that WWE could be doing more cuts today and that those cuts would come in the form of talent on the roster. This morning WWE announced six main roster superstars have been released by the company.
Wednesday morning WWE announced that they have come to terms on the releases of Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Murphy, Ruby Riott, and Santana Garrett.

As far as these releases do go, a few of these are shockers with Braun Strowman challenging for the WWE Championship at the last pay-per-view. Also, Aleister Black had just returned to TV and looked to have started a program with Big E on Smackdown. It is also be reported that there may not be the only releases today as well.
