WWE Announces Signing Of Simone Johnson, Daughter Of The Rock
February 10, 2020Today WWE signed their first fourth-generation superstar.
WWE announced Monday morning that they have signed 18-year-old Simone Johson, the daughter of former WWE Superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Johnson has done a little training in the past and is now on a full-time path with WWE.
As far os Johnson signing with the company she had the following to say,
“It means the world to me. To know that my family has such a personal connection to wrestling is really special to me and I feel grateful to have the opportunity, not only to wrestle, but to carry on that legacy.”
Triple H even gave his thoughts on the signing of Simone Jonson stating,
“Simone Johnson’s unbridled passion and incredible drive has earned her a coveted spot training with the elite athletes from around the world at the WWE Performance Center. Not only does Simone now have an opportunity to cultivate and display her passion for WWE within the Performance Center, but she’ll carry on the tradition of her incredible family lineage while creating her own impact as WWE’s first fourth generation Superstar.”
As of right now, the word is that she will take her time training and will not be fast-tracked to television before they think she is ready just because of her family name and who she is. Once she makes her debut she will become the first-ever fourth-generation wrestler in WWE history.
WWE also announced they Cathy Kelly will have a sitdown interview with Johnson on the WWE YouTube channel this Wednesday.
Great advice! I’ll definitely be implementing some of these tips.
