WrestleManias To Air On Cable

WWE will air multiple WrestleManias over the next few Sundays.

With most live sports not taking place right now, sports networks are now looking at different ideas to have content to air on their networks and one of them is ESPN.

It was announced Friday morning that over the next three weeks ESPN will air three past WrestleMania events. This Sunday, March 22nd will be WrestleMania 30. WrestleMania 30 was headlined by Randy Orton defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Batista and Daniel Bryan. The following Sunday, March 29th will be WrestleMania 32. WrestleMania 32 was headlined by Triple H defending the WWE Championship against Roman Reigns.

Finally, on Sunday, April 5th, they will air WrestleMania 35 from last year. WrestleMania 35 was headlined by Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch with both the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Championships on the line.

There were reports earlier this year that WWE may have been in talks to possibly stream this year’s WrestleMania on ESPN’s streaming service ESPN+. That deal did not come together but it looks like this could possibly confirm that WWE did have some sort of content talks with ESPN.
