William Regal’s New Position In WWE Revealed

William Regal has finalized a new deal with WWE.

For the last for or so we have been hearing everything about William Regal leaving AEW to go back to WWE. This past week AEW President Tony Khan confirmed all of that saying Regal asked to leave to go work with his son in WWE. Now we know what Regal’s new role in WWE may just be.

According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that Regal and WWE have come to terms with a new position for him in the company. The report states that Regal will have some sort of a Vice President role in the company when he returns the first week of January. As far as what specific role this Vice President title will be for is still not known.

We do know per Tony Khan during the ROH Final Battle media call last week, one term on Regal being let out of AEW is that he is not allowed to appear on television for WWE. The terms of that and how long that will be in effect is not known.
