Will The Crown Jewel Championships Be Defended In Perth
May 10, 2025Are the Crown Jewel Title going to Australia?
Last year, WWE implemented the Crown Jewel Championships that saw the top men’s and women’s champions battle at Crown Jewel. The titles were something put together by WWE and Saudi Arabia, and the title would live at the WWE Experience in Saudi Arabia. With Crown Jewel not taking place in Saudi Arabia this year, the question has come up whether the title will be defended outside of the country.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reports that the titles will, in fact, be defended on the Crown Jewel Perth event in October. Even though the show is taking place in a different country, the new annual tradition will not die after only one year.
“On the Crown Jewel PPV on 10/11, they will have the annual Crown Jewel title matches previously scheduled as an annual thing in Saudi Arabia. Because Saudi Arabia is getting the Royal Rumble in January, they aren’t getting a PPV later in the year. So the WWE men’s and women’s champions will face the world champions just like last year. The belief is these matches will go back to being a regular thing in Saudi Arabia in 2026 while the Survivor Series will have men and women’s WarGames matches.”
We Crown Jewel Perth, will take place on October 11th from the RAC Arena, and even though we are five months away, we already know of two matches taking place on the card, minus who will be the champions by then.
If we do hear anything else for Crown Jewel, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
