Who Is Kalyx? Details On WWE Kalyx Trademark

We now know who Kalyx is.

Over the last few days, a new WWE trademark was found for the in-ring name Kalyx. Many online thought it could have been for a name change for NXT Superstar Sol Ruca. How could it be for her you may ask? That is because Ruca’s real first name is Calyx. So with the names so close to one another that would be a logical assumption. Yet we now know that is not the case.

According to Fightful, they state that the new Kalyx trademark is not for Sol Ruca but actually for WWE referee Jessika Carr. Carr was a wrestler before becoming a referee for WWE and now it looks like she will get to wrestle for WWE. The report notes that Carr actually wrestled at the recent EVOLVE tapings under a mask. Word is that WWE has already filmed six episodes for the upcoming tubi show and Carr wrestled on the fourth episode that was filmed. She reportedly worked a tag team match and was “already in the ring” ahead of the match, so she didn’t get a typical entrance.

If you are unaware, Carr wrestled for years on the independents as Kennadi Brink and Jessie Kaye. She also appeared in NXT as Kennedy Lewis before being hired by WWE and becoming one of WWE’s top referees.
